EX*IN*CO Systems
Philosophy
Our philosophy at EX*IN*CO Systems is to keep users productive and owners informed. We achieve these frequently conflicting objectives by observing the following principles as we continuously upgrade our THEOS® based software.

SIMPLE - Software can be complex and powerful without being complicated to use or difficult to understand.

INTUITIVE - Make operations intuitive. Intuitive software requires less training because the operation is obvious. If the users can understand the system, they will be able to use it more efficiently. Entry prompting where feasible improves understanding. Logically organized menus allow users to stay on track without resorting to operator instructions (we provide good manuals anyway). Menus are also printable to be used as checklists.

PRODUCTIVE - Write software requiring as few keystrokes as possible to increase productivity. Productivity also increases when people are not digging in the files but simply looking up the information on their work stations via powerful inquiries.

FLEXIBLE - Software designed to be changed. Making changes should be quick and easy. Allow the users to control as much of the system as possible as their businesses continue to change and grow.

AUDITABLE - Clean tracks from start to finish for auditing and data tracking. Make users accountable for their tasks where possible.

EXPANDABLE - Allow growth with EX*IN*CO SYSTEMS BUSINESS PARTNER® Software without having to change software as the business grows. Allow upgrade of hardware without having to change the software.

LISTEN & SHARE - User ideas can help to improve productivity Find out what information owners and key personnel need to run the business. Use this information to write better software and to show owners and users what other companies have done to solve similar problems.

EFFICIENT - Write software so the computer works as little as possible. Thereby keeping processing speed very fast.  Users do not like to wait.

CONSISTENT - Use consistent conventions among modules. Programs should perform exactly the same if possible. This allows quicker training and fewer mistakes by users. Internally programs should be well documented in English and logically laid out. Externally the users should see consistent, understandable prompts not programmerese.

TECHNOLOGY - Use latest hardware and software technology available. Constantly be looking for ways to use new technology to improve systems.
