About Surfcrest Resort

Surfcrest is a 54 unit time-share condominium located near Ocean City on the Central Washington Coast. The 30-acre resort consists of 900 feet of Pacific Ocean frontage and another 1500 feet of Connor Creek frontage for a total of almost one-half mile of water frontage. The property lies between Washington State Highway 109 and the Pacific Ocean. Half of the property (lying between Connor Creek and the highway) is an undeveloped green belt. The developed half is accessed by a private road and bridge over Connor Creek. It consists of 9 residential buildings of six units each, one Club House building with office, indoor-outdoor swimming pool and several out buildings for maintenance. The property also includes a large playground, volleyball court, horse shoe pit and a Connor Creek canoe dock. Picnic tables and benches are placed about the property for enjoyment of local flora and fauna (e.g. Bald Eagle, beaver, swan, geese, duck, river otter, deer, salmon, pelican, seagull, muskrat and many other animals).

Each townhouse unit is one bedroom with loft sleeping six. These units also include a ground level patio off the living room and a deck with a Pacific Ocean view off the upstairs bedroom. Each unit has six "fee simple" owners. These 324 owners make up the Surfcrest Owners Association. The Association meets annually each March in Seattle. The Association is governed by 5-member Board of Directors elected by the membership.

The property is managed by a resident manager with maid and maintenance personnel at her disposal. Overall management is done by a property management firm (Bradley Scott, Inc. of Bremerton, Washington) retained by the Association.

Surfcrest Resort prides itself in being a well-maintained, rustic, low-key, family oriented resort. It has been associated with Resorts Condominiums International (RCI) for member time-share trades since 1975. Of the 324 members over 150 are RCI members who trade their units with other RCI members around the world. Since privacy and quiet are important to the owners, the units have no telephones. Assess to the outside world is via pay phones near the office and Internet connections in the Club House building.
